GOD’S UFO’S

    God’s messages to us don’t come from supernatural visions and trances.  Instead, His messages come through natural thoughts, feelings and events.  In fact, God’s revelations are already here.  We just need to recognize and obey them.  We might call these messages, “Unidentified Fruitful Occurrences” or “God’s UFO’s.”  these include insight, intuition and incidents.

    Insights are thoughts that lead to sudden unexpected realizations or understandings.  They involve new discoveries or different perspectives.  We may study Scriptures or analyze problems for a long while without results.  Then, all at once, we “get it”—the whole concept becomes clear.

    Could that be God’s Spirit revealing His will?  Such insights are of the mind.

    Intuition has to do with feelings—an inner urge that won’t go away.  It can’t always be explained, but it is a very powerful influence.  We may be trying to make an important decision, and when we imagine one choice, a strange sense of foreboding envelops us.  Then, when we imagine the other choice, the foreboding diminishes.  When we choose that option, it is successful. 

    Could that be God’s Spirit revealing His will?  Such intuition is of the heart.

    Incidents are happenings, situations or conditions.  Often they are not anticipated.  They seem to “come out of the blue.”  Such coincidences are sometimes called God’s anonymous miracles.  We may be burdened or depressed about a relationship, or a problem at work.  Things in our life overwhelm us.  Then a turn of events occurs what solves the problem.  The hostile person moves away, or a new job opportunity opens up.  We couldn’t have arranged a better outcome.  It just happened!

    Could that be God’s Spirit revealing His will?  Such incidents are of the hands and feet.

    God speaks to each of us in our own special language.  Some people are more intellectual.  Therefore insight is more common.  Others are more emotional.  Therefore intuition is more common.  Still others are more physically practical.  Therefore incidents are more common.

    In order to live in the Spirit, we must be on the alert for God’s U.F.O.’s.  Those "Unidentified Fruitful Occurrences" such as deep insight, strong intuition, and unusual incidents may be God’s messages to us.
